Meet Stewart Hayes
SIRA NSW Authorised Medico-Legal Expert Witness
Stewart was first registered as a podiatrist in December 1994 and has vast experience in biomechanics & orthotic podiatry. Stewart formerly lectured in biomechanics, custom orthotic manufacture and clinically supervised at Western Sydney University School of Podiatry. He has previously owned an orthotic manufacturing business, thus has made thousands of pairs of orthotics from 'start to finish'. Stewart doesn't just know how to prescribe orthotics, he knows how to make, modify and repair them.
Stewart's orthotic skills are unique in this day & age resulting in a truly custom prescription and manufacture for each patient. Stewart's custom-made orthotics typically last 5 to 6 years and he does not believe that people need new pairs every year or two.
Stewart is a State Insurance Regulatory Authority (SIRA) NSW approved expert witness podiatrist and frequently provides his medico-legal opinion in matters that include medical & podiatric negligence, workers compensation and third-party injury.
Stewart's consultations are by appointment only and he does not provide general footcare podiatry.
